Letitia Trent has been nominated for a Shirley Jackson award, and her nominated short story “Wilderness” appeared in Volume 8 of Best Horror of the Year. Trent lives in an Ozark mountain town with her husband, son, two black cats, and one very silly dog named Sally. She works in the mental health field.

Her work includes the poetry collections Match Cut and One Perfect Bird (Sundress Publications) and the chapbooks the ghost comes with me (Ghost City Press) and The Women in Charge (dancing girl press). Her short stories, poetry, and nonfiction have appeared in The Daily Beast, Ghost Proposal, Diagram, Waxwing, Smokelong Quarterly, The Jellyfish Review, and Hobart, among others.
