Mani G. Iyer was born and raised in Bombay, India and now lives near Boston. He is deafblind due to Usher Syndrome, a rare progressive genetic disorder. He is currently learning Braille at the Hadley School for the Blind. His poems have appeared in Off the Coast, Soul-Lit, The Lily Poetry Review, Sonic Boom, and The Helicon Poetry Journal (in Hebrew). His chapbook, I Am the Dancing, was published by Yavanika Press, India in October 2019.
