Irene Cooper’s writings appear The Feminist Wire, phoebe, Utterance, Denver Quarterly, The Manifest-Station, The Rumpus, Witness, and elsewhere. She facilitates creative writing workshops in community, in educational settings, and at a regional prison, and co-edits The Stay Project. Irene is the author of Committal, a speculative spyfy novel about family, the body and the earth from Vegetarian Alcoholic Press, and spare change, a collection of poems from Finishing Line Press.
