Oscar Mancinas is a Raramuri-Chicanx PhD candidate and teacher. He was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona’s Washington-Escobedo neighborhood. His published works include the poetry chapbooks Jaula and Roto: A Mex-Tape as well as the collection of short stories To Live and Die in El Valle. His debut full-length poetry collection is forthcoming from Tolsun Books.He splits his time between Phoenix and Mesa.
