PiP 134 Featuring Mordecai Martin

Poets in Pajamas brings you Mordecai Martin at 7 pm Eastern (4 pm Pacific) on April 17th with a 15-minute live reading immediately followed by a short Q&A. The event will be held at the PiP Facebook page.

Mordecai Martin is an Ashkenazi Jewish writer and 5th generation New Yorker who has lived in Manhattan, Jerusalem and Mexico City. He currently bases himself out of Philadelphia, where he lives in a small, beautiful house with a small, beautiful cat and his tall and brilliant wife. He uses magical realist and autofiction frameworks to examine Jewish lives in all their sweetness, agony, and absurdity. He is a cofounder of the Jewish writing group Golus Kollectiv, and his work has been published in Gone Lawn, X-Ray Lit Mag, Peach Magazine, TIMBER Journal, Funicular, and Sortes, among other literary publications. He blogs, too infrequently, at MordecaiMartin.net and tweets, far too frequently, at @MordecaiPMartin.
